In the category of really not all that groundbreaking realizations, here is mine for the week.
So many people react to Easter with a “ho hum” because they do not realize that the answer to every deep question in their life is found in Jesus who was taken away but is now alive.
They do not rush in among the disciples and shout “I have seen the Lord!” because they have no sense that seeing him would be big news to anyone.
To the man who does not know he is hungry, food is not a source of joy. To the woman who does not know to name her thirst rightly, living water is not a reason to shout.
