Are physical Cokesbury stores a sacred cow for pastors? The reaction on my Facebook and Twitter seems to suggest so.
After hearing pastors poke fun at various congregations’ sacred cows, I admit I am a bit befuddled by the reaction to this announcement.
I do not know. The only one I’ve every set foot in is at a seminary. As long as I can get my books, I’ll be okay, although I do really like the lady who runs that story. I feel badly for her as this must be a day with a lot of uncertainty in it.
Cokesubry today . . . LifeWay tomorrow? If that happens, for sure the Rapture will occur the day after that. Don’t be Left Behind!
