My daughter – Lord bless her soul – is taking on the challenge of teaching me some guitar.
So, I need a goal.
What are some of the easiest hymns to play (and sing for bad singers) on guitar?

The doctrine of original sin is surely more humbling to man than the opposite: And I know not what honour we can pay to God, if we think man came out of His hands in the condition wherein he is now.

Two that immediately spring to mind are Jesus Loves Me and Amazing Grace. I’m sure others will offer helpful suggestions.
One that sounds like it might be simple is Chris Tomlin’s How Great Is Our God – at least it sounded easy to this singing non-guitar playing pastor on the radio tonight.
How Great is Our God is a good one but also Holy is the Lord by Tomlin is easy as well. Some other fun ones are Pass it On, Seek Ye First, and Here I Am Lord. If you need to know chords, chordfind.com is a great site! ROCK ON!
Thank you for the list.
I’m still working on learning the notes on the various strings, so there is a long way to go.
It would also help if I could get a rhythm implant from somewhere.
